The 3M™ RP45 tape contains a versatile acrylic adhesive with an adaptable foam core that ensures quick, easy and permanent bonding, making it an ideal replacement for mechanical fasteners.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Viscoelastic properties of its contact-sensitive acrylic adhesive ensure shock and vibration absorption.
- Adhesion to different materials, with medium and high surface energy, even at low temperatures, such as lacquered wood, stainless steel, galvanised steel, glass, polycarbonates, plastics, acrylics, composite materials, ABS and aluminium.
- Short term temperature resistance up to 121°C, long term up to 93°C.
- Excellent shear, ageing and solvent resistance.
- Provides excellent sealing against water and moisture.
- Indoor and outdoor use.
- Thickness 1.1 mm.
- Grey colour.

- Ideal replacement for mechanical fasteners avoiding the use of mechanical fasteners, such as screwing, welding, grinding, sanding, drilling and cleaning.
