tesa® 60412 is a sustainable packaging tape designed for sealing light to medium sized cartons, with a post-consumer recycled PET backing (up to 90%) and a water-based acrylic adhesive. Its design combines high strength, quiet unwind and paper recycling compatibility, making it ideal for manual or automated processes. This tape offers comparable performance to PVC or BOPP tapes, supporting sustainability without compromising quality.

CHARACTERISTICS

- Total thickness: 56 µm.

- Environmentally friendly material: PET backing with up to 90% post-consumer recycled content (PCR), reducing the use of virgin plastic.

- Durable backing: Strong, abrasion and tear resistant PET with high thermal stability.

- Water-based acrylic adhesive: Pressure sensitive, with strong initial tack, ideal for recycled board.

- Quiet unwind: Low unwind resistance, improves working environment and is suitable for automation.

- Excellent printability: Compatible with various ink systems for brand personalisation.

- Recycling compatible: Certified according to INGEDE method 12, it can be disposed of with cardboard without affecting recycling.
