The S01 fire-resistant tape is a high-performance intumescent polyurethane foam designed to provide an effective seal against fire, smoke, air and water.

CHARACTERISTICS

- Active intumescent expansion above 200 °C.

- Airtight/watertight seal under compression.

- High flexibility and halogen-free.

- Available in various thicknesses (approx. 4.5 mm to 13 mm) and widths.

APPLICATIONS

- Construction: Used in joints in walls, floors, ceilings, door and window frames, as well as in HVAC systems. Prevents the spread of flames and smoke.

- Electric and hybrid vehicles (EV/HEV): Protection of battery packs in the automotive sector. The foam expands and seals gaps, helping to delay or mitigate the spread of fire between battery modules.

- Aerospace: In passenger seats, cargo compartments and other sensitive areas where both fire resistance and a flexible, lightweight seal are required.

- Rail transport: Complies with the requirements of standard EN 45545-2 (HL2 level), making it suitable for sealing applications in trains, carriages and stations.

- Other industrial applications: In walk-in cold rooms (to maintain thermal and moisture tightness), electrical cabinets, panels and any application requiring a durable seal with intumescent protection.
