Tape 470 is perfect for electroplating and anodising processes, thanks to its flexible vinyl backing it conforms to a multitude of curved or irregular surfaces.

It complies with specification HH-T-0025 (GSA-FSS) amendment 2, which is a US government industry specification that establishes technical requirements for the manufacture and supply of hand tools, specifically for high strength wire cutting tools used in the aircraft industry. This specification applies to all hand tools used in the manufacture, maintenance and repair of military and civil aircraft. This specification is important because it ensures that hand tools used in the aeronautical industry meet the safety and quality requirements necessary to ensure the proper operation of aircraft and the safety of the user.
