3M ™ 9731 Double Sided Tape is a high performance 140 µm liner coated with silicone on the inside and acrylic adhesive on the outside.

Double liner made of 100 µm polyester film and 127 µm kraft paper coated with several layers.

Great resistance to high temperatures and medium resistance to solvents; high and low surface energy.

This thin double-sided tape has a different adhesion, since it incorporates a silicone adhesive (holding to various silicone surfaces) and another high-performance acrylic (adhesion to plastics, powder paint and greasy materials), both sensitive to the pressure bond to low surface energy plastics without the need for primers.

High resistance to changes in temperature, shear and solvents.

Rapid initial adhesion, increasing it over time.

The multi-layer coated liner (PCK) achieves excellent moisture stability. The polyester film protector (PET) reduces breakage during dispensing and die cutting.
