This tape has been created for the bonding of vapour permeable membranes, frequently used in the construction sector; making it an ideal solution for sealing and connecting walls, ceilings and floors in interior spaces. It has a high thermal resistance, which ensures a long service life in variable conditions, and is suitable for applications requiring high thickness.

CARACTERÍSTICAS

- Tape type: Double sided transfer tape reinforced with mesh.

- Adhesive: Enhanced acrylic, with high tack.

- Backing: Polyethylene film, which combines robustness and adaptability.

- Protector: 120 g siliconised Kraft paper, which simplifies the application and removal of the coating.

- Thickness: 0.29 mm, ideal for uses requiring considerable thickness.

- Adhesion: 35 N/25 mm, ensuring a solid bond even on rough or uneven surfaces.

- Thermal range: -30 °C to +80 °C, allowing use in extreme environments, both indoors and outdoors.

- Available widths: From 25 mm to 1500 mm.

- Colour: Yellowish.

- Mesh: Rectangular, which strengthens the tape and increases its resistance to tearing.

- UV and weather resistance: High durability against UV rays, perfect for outdoor use.

APPLICATIONS

- Passive House style timber housing construction: Perfect for fixing vapour permeable membranes to ensure thermal protection, sound insulation and moisture barrier, providing a watertight seal at the junctions of walls, roofs and interior floors, optimising energy performance.

- Fixing of tarpaulins and panels: Tarpaulins in buildings where asbestos is removed and panels in construction projects that demand high resistance and longevity.

- Adhesion on rough surfaces: Its high thickness and powerful adhesion make it an optimal solution for building materials with porous or irregular textures.

- Sealing joints: Used to seal connections between walls/roofs and walls/flooring, ensuring impermeability to air, vapour and sound.

- Exterior use: Because of its ability to withstand ultraviolet rays and adverse weather conditions, it is suitable for applications in outdoor structures exposed to weather changes.

- Laminating: Foam, leather and textile.

- Adhesion of elastic materials: That require neither longitudinal nor transversal stretching. Fastening of PE film to metal structure.

- Other industrial applications: Suitable for lamination of porous materials or in processes requiring a high performance adhesive.
