Double-sided VHB tape with high instant adhesion closed cell acrylic foam adhesive.

Good resistance to short-term high temperatures (230ºC).

Its flexibility allows the relaxation of mechanical stresses and facilitates the application. Peel and shear resistant.

For indoor and outdoor applications.

As an example of the application of this tape, we have the placement and fixing of solar panels on metal structures.

This tape, together with the first 3M P94, is used for gluing metal profiles in the assembly of solar panels. A fast joint is produced, reducing the application time and the number of mechanical joints (screws and rivets).

It also avoids the galvanic couple due to contact between incompatible metals (aluminum and iron), giving the structure of the solar panels much greater durability.
