3M ™ 1099 High Performance Nitrile Plastic Adhesive cures quickly and has an open time of approximately 40 minutes.

It produces bonds of proven strength and resistant to weather and damage by water, oil and fuel.

In addition, it bonds well to plastics and vinyl, providing long-term adhesion as well as good resistance to plasticizer migration.

Ideal for vinyl plastics Our 3M ™ 1099 High Performance Nitrile Plastic Adhesive bonds a variety of substrates, primarily leather and most vinyl coatings used in awnings, upholstery and faux leather, as well as plastics, to provide strong and durable bonds.

Keep in mind, however, that it can stain thin or light-colored vinyls.

With 3M ™ 1099 High Performance Nitrile Plastic Adhesive, you can quickly meet your bonding needs.

This fast-curing adhesive forms a durable bond at room temperature, but can also undergo a heat-initiated chemical reaction to increase its bonding power.

In addition, this adhesive can be sprayed with industrial spray equipment, allowing large-scale tasks to be tackled comfortably and consistently.

ADHESIVE APPLICATION

- Whether spraying, brushing or rolling, applying 3M ™ Adhesive is a simple process.

- Begin by carefully applying the adhesive to the surface to form a uniform coating.

- Using an overlap pattern, a coating application should suffice on most surfaces.

- Effective adhesive coverage is achieved when 80% or more of the surface is covered.

- Some substrates, including porous materials, may require an additional coating.

- To apply more adhesive, simply wait until the existing adhesive is dry to the touch and then continue with the application of the additional coating.
