3M™ RP16 tape incorporates a multi-purpose acrylic adhesive, with a conformable foam core, ensuring a quick, easy and permanent bond, making it an ideal replacement for mechanical fixings.

CHARACTERISTICS

- Viscoelastic, contact pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive, allowing vibration and shock absorption.

- Bonds to numerous substrates such as glass, plastics, acrylics, aluminium, composite materials, ABS, stainless steel, galvanised steel, polycarbonates and painted wood.

- Bonding to medium and high surface energy materials, even at low temperatures.

- Short-term temperature resistance up to 121°C.

- Long-term temperature resistance up to 93°C.

- High shear, solvent and ageing resistance.

- Available in different widths.

- Excellent sealing characteristics against water and moisture.

- Indoor and outdoor use.

- Thickness 0.4 mm.

- Grey colour.
