SIGNAL V-23. REFLECTIVE TAPE FOR VEHICLES
The new CEPE/ONU 48 regulation defines the voluntary or obligatory nature of marking with reflective adhesive materials on the rear and sides of the different types of vehicles.
This new regulation indicates as mandatory, the marking of the contour of motor vehicles with at least 4 wheels intended for the transport of goods, whose maximum authorized weight exceeds 7.5 tons and its width is greater than or equal to 2.1 meters.
It will be voluntary in the rest of motor vehicles intended for the transport of goods, vans, and buses.
Its application in passenger vehicles and their trailer is prohibited when it does not exceed 750 kg.
