SIGNAL V-23. REFLECTIVE TAPE FOR VEHICLES
The new UN / ECE regulation 48 defines the voluntary or obligatory nature of marking with reflective adhesive materials on the rear and side of the different types of vehicles.
This new regulation indicates as mandatory, the marking of the contour of motor vehicles with at least 4 wheels destined to transport goods, whose maximum authorized weight exceeds 7.5 Tm and its width is greater than or equal to 2.1 meters.
It will be voluntary in the rest of motor vehicles destined to the transport of goods, vans, and buses.
Its application in tourism vehicles and their trailer is prohibited when it does not exceed 750 kg.
