The extremely slippery surface of 3M ™ 5480 Calendered PTFE Film Tape offers good adaptability when separated from the roll compared to common extruded PTFE film tapes.

We have developed this tape as a quick and easy solution to reduce friction between moving surfaces.

It works as an anti-adhesion or easy-release medium between surfaces where pressure, temperature changes and other factors can create a measure of adhesion.

Applying this tape can help improve surface movement, eliminate squeaks and rattles, and reduce machine noise.

PTFE is resistant to chemicals and can be used as a temporary chemical barrier.

The tape can be used in a wide temperature range, from -54 ° C to 260 ° C, making it suitable for a variety of applications.

This particular roll is 375mm with adhesive + 7mm sides without adhesive, although if you need it, we can remove these sides.
