3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Acrylic Metal Adhesive DP8407NS is a gray structural adhesive with high shear and peel strength, as well as adequate impact resistance and durability.

The DP8407NS uses 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EPX™ orange nozzles.

This adhesive is designed to permanently bond to bare metal with minimal surface preparation, but also works well on many other materials, including most plastics.

Two-component, new generation acrylic "cold welding" adhesive reinforced with glass microspheres to control the thickness of the bond line, whose chemical nature makes it highly resistant to immersion processes.

The most important thing is its great resistance to high temperatures (up to 204°C)

Withstands liquid and powder paint cure cycles up to 204°C

Assembly processes that require liquid or powder painting often present real problems with regard to temperatures. Our 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Acrylic Metal Adhesive DP8407NS is designed to withstand liquid and powder paint dry cycles up to 204°C for at least one hour.

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Acrylic Metal Adhesive DP8407NS features a low-viscosity, non-sag formulation that will not peel or spread excessively on the surface, allowing precise application while ensuring that the adhesive remains exactly where it is placed, even on vertical surfaces.

Our 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Acrylic Metal Adhesive DP8407NS is medium in viscosity, allowing for controlled dispensing and spreading to sufficiently wet the surface. The mix ratio is 10:1 and provides a 7 minute pot life and a high rate of adhesion buildup at room temperature.
